Our Story
In 2022, we visited a small matcha tea house in Kamakura, just south of Tokyo. The entire space was green, and it felt like stepping into a matcha farm. The beauty of the place and the exquisite taste of matcha instantly captivated us.
From that day on, matcha became part of our daily life. We began drinking it every morning and visiting tea houses on weekends. We truly fell in love with matcha.
Drinking matcha in tea houses, often surrounded by nature or tucked away in Japanese gardens in the city, brought a quiet and peaceful feeling to our hearts.
Over time, we realized we could recreate that same tranquility at home. Preparing and drinking matcha calms our hearts and starts the day with a serene yet energized mind. It was truly magical.
We wanted to share this experience with others. In a fast-moving world, we all need a moment to pause and take a deep breath.
That is how Wako Matcha was born, with a desire to share the peace that matcha can bring.
Now, we are sharing it with you and with a growing circle of Wako Matcha friends around the world.
